I was born in Sweden and have lived in the US on and off for 30 years. However, during that time I also lived in Italy, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia and Spain.

I love working in clay. It is a medium that very often “talks” to me. I can sometimes end up with an art piece that is not what I initially had in mind when I started.

My whimsical style and use of colors reflected in my work come from my love of nature. My work technique is hand building starting from slabs and experimenting with a lot of textures and glazes.

I have worked in clay for 14 years and I am currently teaching adults ceramics at Terra Linda Community Center.
